My Review

This is a romcom that actually had me laughing out loud in a couple of places, always the sign of a well written book! It’s easy to read, the style carries you along and the characters are well drawn. Flora in particular is hilarious and her food quirks and language had me in stitches. Tom is delightful despite being the enemy and Flora’s friends and colleagues are people you wish you had around you when the going gets tough.
There are no great surprises as far as plot but when you finish the book it is with a feeling of satisfaction that all is as it should be. I am saying no more except that I will be reading more of Lynda Renham from now on.

5/5
