Two gripping stories in one that intertwine with a shocking finale. I really enjoyed both stories and the suspense of discovering what really happened to Elaine as we join her granddaughter's search for the truth. The modern story of Jen's doomed marriage is just as enthralling as Elaine's story as they search for a connection to war photographer, Robert Capa. Who knows what skeletons in the closet they will discover as a result? Very enjoyable read.
