My Review
This is the fourth book in the Remington
series and so far I have enjoyed them all. This book, set on the ski slopes,
features Rush and Jayla, both Olympic ski champions who have been friends for
years. This book will resonate with anyone who has been in a similar situation
where they both want their relationship to develop further but are afraid of
what will happen to their friendship if it does.
I enjoyed the fact that this couple already
know each other extremely well and Melissa Foster’s talent is in keeping the
suspense going about whether they will risk their friendship and their dreams
of winning the Championship in order to follow their hearts.
Whilst Rush is pure Alpha male, we see a
sensitive side to him as he changes his bed-hopping antics in order to woo
Jayla. Jayla in turn is terrified of simply becoming another notch on his
bedpost. She also has a shoulder injury to deal with and is afraid of missing
her chance of being in the team if she lets anyone know.
I didn’t warm to Rush as much as to some of
his brothers but nonetheless, it is another romance from Melissa that will have
you turning the pages.
